Charles Murray- How do we disarm the regulatory state?

I have not spoken with Charles Murray in years. My respect for him continues to grow.
“..a large fund needs to be established to vigorously defend those who run afoul of the regulations.. not be to defend the innocent. It would be to defend the guilty, people who are guilty of violating stupid, pointless regulations. And the idea is to overload the enforcement capacity of the regulatory agencies.”

Pretty good idea–but I would NOT allow a single dime to be spent “defending” those who intentionally violate our immigration laws…even if they DO “feel” that they are violating laws that are “stupid” and “pointless.”
