Teacher Shot by First Grade Student Sues Virginia School District for Laughing off Warnings – RedState

January 26, 2023

Teachers and students said something. The administrators ignored the warnings. The administrators need to be held accountable by the public and by a jury in a civil trial. RM

From Red State-
“It’s been almost three weeks since first grade teacher Abigail Zwerner was shot by a six-year-old student in her class at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia. Zwerner has, thankfully, been released from the hospital, and she is now suing the school district for what her lawyer described as the school administration’s apathetic response to learning the student had a gun and was making threats. Administrators were allegedly warned of the threat three times in the hours leading up to the shooting, but failed to take action to protect the school community.

Something VERY strange is going on here.
WHY are these parents STILL enjoying anonymity?
A SIX YEAR OLD who learns how to use a gun, and more than just USE a gun, but more, to use a gun to intimidate, threaten and settle disputes in a street thug type way, AT SIX YEARS OLD, says everything about the HOME ENVIRONMENT the “child” was raised in.
WHY are there not news crews camped out at the home, barraging the parents with questions every time they come and go?
HOW DID YOUR CHILD LEARN TO USE A GUN?
HOW DID YOUR CHILD GAIN ACCESS TO THE GUN?
    WHERE WAS THE GUN SECURED?
DID YOU TEACH YOUR CHILD TO BE A LITTLE SAFECRACKER IN ADDITION TO BEING A HOMICIDAL MANIAC?
Why are their pictures not plastered across the news feeds like the Crumbleys in the Michigan school shooting?
I would very much like to know WHY these parents are being protected to such a degree.
This is an outright failure in parenting, especially knowing how much of a PROBLEM this child is. Secured or not, these parents DID allow this miniature thug access to a gun. Merely stating that “the gun was secured” does not relieve them of responsibility . . . because the gun was NOT secured.
There is a big problem with A SIX YEAR OLD having the demeanor to cause such fear in classmates . . . and even teachers . . . AND ADMINISTRATORS.
. . . and now the world is afraid to hold the parents accountable.
It could very well be, in the ideological world we live in, that the righteous path forward would be to just leave this family alone, and outlaw and confiscate the guns of everybody else in society who is NOT responsible for this shooting.
