Record Coral Cover Of Great Barrier Reef Shames Climate Alarmists, Media – Climate Change Dispatch

July 28, 2021

How will scientists and journalists pay their mortgage if the world is healthy? RM

The annual data on coral cover for the Great Barrier Reef, produced by the Australian Institute of Marine Science, was released on Monday showing the amount of coral on the reef is at record high levels.

The only disaster is the quality assurance at the science organizations.

Surprised that this article wasn’t pulled for being “DANGEROUS MISINFORMATION”!

Well, duh. It’s been known since at least WWII that corals experience periodic die-offs, much like bamboo.

Some species of coral die off in hundreds-years cycles, some die off in 50 year cycles, some in only 10.

And, well, eventually the cycles of die-offs all line up and you get a great die-off of a lot of corals.

Then, like magic, after the die-offs, the corals all come back like gangbusters.

As to the Great Barrier Reef, well, a couple years ago the Commissioner in charge of the Barrier Reef in Australia freaked everyone out when she told her people that she was going to tour all the dead spots to see for herself how bad it was. And, yes, the reports of huge die-offs were not nearly as bad as the climate-worshipers said they were.
