The Grand Theater in Lafayette, Louisiana excluded honorable people with guns. That means the only guns in the theater were in dishonorable hands. And when a crazy person started shooting in their theater, they called honorable people with guns to save them.

Anyone who has more concern for people than this theater does needs to discover who told them that. WHO advised them to post a non-guns policy? Expose them for their bad advice and ignorance on the simplest practicalities. The simplest.
Litigation time and best get on it.

Secondarily, their threat to prosecute anyone for “criminal trespass” for refusing to follow their “rules” is as unconstitutional as anything Obama has done. You can’t be prosecuted for “criminal trespass” on property for which you’ve paid admission to occupy. You might be prosecuted for “disorderly conduct” but NOT for “criminal trespass.”

love those signs about prosecution. just visited a friend in the hospital in Colorado. walked right past the NO WEAPONS sign with my ccw GLOCK 26, 2 spare mags, and 2 knives. all they can do is ask me to leave if discovered. they can’t prosecute unless i refuse to leave. funny the sign wasn’t as big or as prominent as the NO SMOKING signs

Why ANYONE would be stupid enough to post a “no guns allowed” sign is beyond reason. What the sign says is, “Come on in and rob this place. No one will oppose you. And, if you want to shoot the place up, be our guest!”

A corporate “risk manager” said the sign could be used in court to deflect liability. That legal approach has not worked so far.
