More Defenseless Victims in San Diego County

August 30, 2014

robbed at cruise ship terminal

San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore said he will protect us and citizens have no need to protect themselves.  Somehow, Sheriff Gore missed the thousands of crime victims last month.  Most victims were unarmed and defenseless.   Most were disarmed by the Sheriff.  Here are a few examples from a very long list;

– A group of women were robbed at gunpoint in the Little Italy district at night.  Two were shot.

– A 76 year old man was attacked in a parking lot. The victim required two surgeries to repair damage to his face and eyes.

– A registered sexual offender broke into a house and forcibly kissed and fondled the homeowner. The suspect was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of burglary, sexual battery, elder abuse and violation of parole.

– A woman walking through North Park was attacked from behind and knocked to the ground. She called police once she regained consciousness.

– Two college students were stabbed early Sunday morning in unrelated incidents. Both required hospitalization, but are expected to survive.

– A 25 year old was beaten unconscious by three people late Tuesday night. Medics transported him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

– A parolee is back behind bars after kidnapping a 21 year old woman at gunpoint.

Those are a few of the rapes, assaults and murders in San Diego County last month.  These victims were denied the right of self-defense by Sheriff Gore.  The Sheriff says he can’t issue concealed carry permits to ordinary citizens, but many other California Sheriffs do exactly that.

A three judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals went so far as to call Sheriff Gore’s disarmament policy unconstitutional!   More citizens will be disarmed victims until the Sheriff recognizes their right of self-defense.

Sheriff’s and chiefs should not have control over who should get a permit. The police will not be where you need them. Each citizens has a right to defend themselves and others. Police that think they can protect victims are among the dumbest people on earth. Chief’s and sheriffs are political animals. Chiefs have to be puppets to the mayor and council. In many states being anti-gun gives them a power base. Almost every one is a bleeding heart liberal willing to be anti-gun, thinking if they told the truth they would be fired. Do not trust police to help you.

This Sherriff must be from the same gene pool as Al – you people need to vote him out of office – or somebody sue him.

The sheriff is in violation of the California courts. A few citizens should file an arrest warrant with the appropriate agency, . I’d start with the CA AG and then the US Marshal. Also file suits for damages, loss of life and rapes and assaults, injuries. Make sure the suits cite the sheriff personally, not the department or other deputies. That way the sheriff will have to spend his own money for a defense and when he loses, pay the damages himself.
Of course these costs to the State taxpayers should be in impeachment or re-election efforts.

When do I have to ask, beg or whatever for the right to defend and protect myself: MY G-D GIVE ME THAT RIGHT. It does not come from government.

Why do police carry weapons when the federal court has stated that they DO NOT have a RESPONSIBILTY to protect individuals but only to maintain the general order? Police are armed to protect THEMSELVES. This this sworn cretin doesn’t want us to be able to do that.

If any one, or more, of the crime victims had ever been denied a gun permit, they (or their survivors) should file a class action against the sheriff and county, holding them responsible for any and all damages (including loss of lifetime income for those killed), with punitive damages piled on top of the actual claim. Especially since he said he and his deputies would protect the citizens, he’s now accountable.

Yes, it would be appropriate for this sheriff to start doing his sworn duty to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States (even though California does not recognize the same rights, his oath covers both). However, the sheriff is an elected position. The people of San Diego County have no one to blame but themselves. If you haven’t bothered to check on the views of the sheriff you vote for before placing that vote, you could pay for that mistake with your life.

As far as I know Sheriffs are elected. Can you vote in a different one that would be more helpful?
