SHOT Show Humor
Some of the employees at the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade show (SHOT) are in the booths to attract attention. A fairly tall young woman was wearing leather pants and heals. I waited my turn to grab a company brochure and notice her badge was labeled TEMPORARY GUEST. Another young lady was wearing considerably less. Her badge said EXHIBITOR.
Someone at the registration desk has a sense of humor.
This is an industry convention. Some of the bullet manufacturers had to stamp their own bullet jackets when their suppliers ran short. Now they are stamping their own cartridge cases and looking for places to sell them. They make everything but powder and primers. Some auto parts suppliers are now stamping and assembling ammunition magazines.
There are vendors from around the world. I talked with vendors who ship parts back and forth across the border in order to meet our bizarre firearms import regulations.
From tents to internet-enabled game cameras, this industry is alive.
