Will Politicians “Save One Life”?

January 25, 2013

Should we do as politicians say or do as politicians doI notice that politicians are again asking us to give up tools that let us defend ourselves.  If you watch the news then you notice these politicians have armed guards for security where they work.  They have personal security details when they travel.  Security DetailThese same politicians should eagerly lead by example if citizen disarmament is such a rewarding goal.  Evidently these politicians are not willing to suck up a few bullets in order to “save one life”.  Civilians are supposed to do that, but not politicians.  The new gun laws won’t apply to politicians!

I’m ignoring the fact that disarming the public increases crime and creates more victims.  That is for another post.   For now I’m only pointing out their hypocrisy.  I have to point it out since the news media won’t.

So much stupid.  So little time.fists0205

One suggestion I heard somewhere was how many people who believe that less guns make the world safer would be willing to put a sign in their front yard reading “This house is a gun-free zone.” I’m guessing there won’t be many sane volunteers.
