The Victim’s Voice- Post 19 in the series

October 13, 2012

There were 343 violent crimes reported to police in San Diego County this week.  I’m sorry if you were one of them.  These victims, our neighbors, were threatened, stabbed, shot and run over while disarmed.  They were victimized at home, at work, while shopping and while dining out.  Not one of the victims could defend themselves with a firearm.  I think you deserve better.  Here are the few assaults that made the local news this week.

I’m sorry, but the police were not there to stop these crimes.  In other California cities, citizens protect themselves.   That doesn’t happen on the streets of San Diego, though there are 32 thousand private citizens in California who have permits to discreetly carry a sidearm.

Self-defense is a human right for everyone.. all the time.. everywhere.

343? I would not have expected the number to be that high at all, very informative.

Welcome, Caleb. Thank you for dropping by and leaving a comment. I wonder what the stats are for last week.
