Emily Miller: A Women Denied
Emily Miller is a senior editor at the Washington Times. She wanted a gun for self-defense after thieves entered the house she was house-sitting and stole her wallet. She confronted the thieves, but was not hurt. Emily lives in the District of Columbia and her naivete about armed self-defense was touching. She learned. Her ordeal to get a firearm was documented in her series “Emily Gets her Gun”. She was also interviewed by Cam Edwards of the NRA (video). Some people criticize her because she is neither a second amendment scholar nor a “polished” speaker.
I’m not one of those people and I respect her. She is an articulate supporter of armed self-defense. She opposes the DC government’s extensive regulation of honest citizens. That is enough for me. There is also an old adage, “Never argue with someone who buys ink by the barrel and paper by the ton.” I’m glad she is on our side.
Here is Ms. Miller’s interview on Fox News about women owning guns. I find it hard to watch the “polished” interview hosts with their overly affected demeanor.
Press on, Emily.
