The Source of Rights and Justice
Time after time in the last few years, the executive branch of our federal government decided which laws to enforce. It also decided which laws it can ignore as if they were never passed by Congress. I wish we could do that.
Maybe we can. How long will this continue until we the citizens take the same liberties as our government? If the government doesn’t obey the law, then there is absolutely no reason we should obey the law either. The point is not that we may be justified in taking the law into our own hands. That was settled long ago. The point is we may be compelled to do so.
That is profoundly sad for at least two reasons. The rule of law is extremely precious. That is the first reason. The second is that the current government thinks most American’s won’t get off the couch.

For you, Nicki

How long? I wish I could say today’s society has the courage and intelligence to engage in civil disobedience. No. We’re too scared and too indoctrinated by years of publik edukashun.
Thank you! Thank you so much.
“We’re too scared and too indoctrinated by years of publik edukashun.”
Shesh, Nicki. That is publick edyoukayshin. Kant ya spel?!
Nicki, it takes a few leaders and they are everywhere. I see them in the church pulpit, the blogs, youtube, the tea party, in your local clubs and on the streets. Some are in public office of all places. Of course I wish there were more, but I see what we have now.
Unfortunately, these leaders can get no serious traction, because most of the nation is a snot-nosed cowardly band of fools.
And yes, I’m disillusioned.
And maybe some day I’ll larn how ta spal publick ejaculation… uh… edjamakation… ejukation… uh… skool.
I say get rid of the lot of them and start over… the whole thing gives me a migraine!
I hope the whole thing gets you busy changing the politicians who hold office.
